Position Overview
HoneyCoin is seeking a dynamic Head of Growth Marketing to join our leadership team and drive scalable customer acquisition and revenue growth across our target markets in Africa and internationally. This role is central to HoneyCoin's expansion strategy, requiring a data-driven marketing leader who can develop and execute comprehensive
growth strategies that drive user acquisition, engagement, and retention for our payment orchestration platform.
As Head of Growth Marketing at HoneyCoin, you will be responsible for building and leading our growth marketing function from the ground up, developing strategies that leverage both digital and traditional marketing channels to drive sustainable business growth. You will work at the intersection of marketing, product, and data analytics to identify growth opportunities, optimize conversion funnels, and scale marketing efforts that support HoneyCoin's ambitious growth objectives.
This role requires exceptional analytical skills, deep understanding of growth marketing methodologies, and the ability to work in a fast-paced fintech environment where marketing strategies must adapt quickly to changing market conditions and business priorities. You will collaborate closely with our product, sales, and engineering teams to ensure that marketing efforts are aligned with product development and business objectives while driving measurable results.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in growth marketing, performance marketing, or digital marketing within the fintech, technology, or financial services industry, with a proven track record of scaling marketing efforts for high-growth companies. You will play a crucial role in establishing HoneyCoin's marketing capabilities and driving the customer acquisition that fuels our expansion across multiple markets and customer segments.
Key Responsibilities
Growth Strategy Development and Execution
You will develop and execute comprehensive growth marketing strategies that drive customer acquisition, engagement, and retention across HoneyCoin's target markets. This includes identifying growth opportunities, developing go-to-market strategies for new products and markets, and implementing data-driven marketing campaigns that deliver measurable results. You will work closely with our executive team to align growth marketing efforts with business objectives and ensure that marketing investments deliver strong return on investment.
Performance Marketing and Customer Acquisition
A significant portion of your role will involve developing and managing performance marketing campaigns across digital channels including search engine marketing, social media advertising, display advertising, and content marketing. You will optimize campaigns for customer acquisition cost (CAC), lifetime value (LTV), and other key performance metrics while scaling marketing efforts to support business growth objectives. This includes working with external agencies and vendors to maximize the effectiveness of paid marketing efforts.
Marketing Analytics and Data-Driven Optimization
You will establish comprehensive marketing analytics capabilities, implementing tracking and measurement systems that provide insights into marketing performance, customer behavior, and growth opportunities. This includes developing dashboards and reporting systems that enable data-driven decision making, conducting A/B tests to optimize marketing campaigns, and using analytics to identify the most effective channels and strategies for customer acquisition.
