PLEASE READ THESE TERMS OF SERVICE CAREFULLY. By using any HoneyCoin website (including honeycoin.app, usepeer.co, wearecashless.com), mobile or web applications, APIs, or any services provided by HoneyCoin Inc. (collectively, the “Services”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). These Terms, along with our Privacy Policy and any other agreements or policies referenced herein, form a legally binding agreement between you (“you” or “User”) and HoneyCoin, Inc. (“HoneyCoin”, “we”, or “us”). They apply to all users, whether individuals using our consumer products (such as the Peer app) or businesses using our merchant/payment solutions (such as HoneyCoin for Business or Cashless). If you do not agree with these Terms, do not use the Services.
By accessing or using the Services, you affirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms. If you are using the Services on behalf of a company or other legal entity, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity to these Terms, in which case “you” will refer to the entity.
HoneyCoin is a technology company that provides an aggregated financial services and lifestyle platform to consumers and businesses, in partnership with licensed financial institutions and service providers. HoneyCoin (and its products such as Peer, Cashless, and HoneyCoin for Business) enables users to send and receive payments, pay for goods and services, process transactions (including point-of-sale and online payments), purchase utilities and gift cards, and engage in other digital financial activities across various regions (Africa, Europe, the US, Canada, and beyond).
Not a Bank: HoneyCoin is not a bank or regulated deposit-taking institution. We operate as an independent technology and service provider, partnering with licensed banks, payment processors, and money service businesses to offer “banking-like” services such as payment processing, stored value accounts, and currency exchange. This means that while you can use HoneyCoin’s Services to facilitate financial transactions, HoneyCoin itself does not hold or intermediate your funds as a bank would. All payment and custody services are provided by our regulated partners. We do not guarantee any particular outcome of a transaction and are not responsible for the underlying products or services you buy or sell using our platform.
No Guarantee of Transactions: HoneyCoin is not responsible for the quality, legality, or delivery of any goods or services that payments on our platform are used to purchase. We do not guarantee that a buyer or seller you transact with will complete the transaction or fulfill their obligations. Any disputes between users and merchants (or between any parties to a transaction) must be resolved between those parties (see Section 6.7 on Disputes). HoneyCoin may, at our discretion, assist in attempting to resolve a dispute or facilitate communication, but we have no obligation to do so and assume no liability for the outcome.
HoneyCoin’s Services encompass multiple products and channels to accommodate personal and business financial needs:
By using the Services, you acknowledge that HoneyCoin’s role is to facilitate transactions and provide a technology platform. Actual movement of money, settlement of funds, and custody of funds are performed by our third-party banking and payment partners on the backend. The channels and methods we support (e.g., bank transfers, mobile money transfers, card payments, etc.) may vary by region and are subject to change.
You may only use the Services if you meet all of the following criteria:
